These terms apply to your use of the Carpet Direct NZ website. They cover the website only and are not a substitute for the written quote, invoice or installation agreement for a particular flooring job.

Website information

We aim to keep the website accurate and useful, but information can change. Product availability, prices, delivery options, lead times and service areas are not confirmed until we provide a written quote or otherwise confirm them with you.

Room visuals are indicative only. Colours and textures can look different depending on your screen, lighting, product batch and installation. We recommend checking a physical sample before making a final selection.

Enquiries and quotes

An enquiry submitted through the website is a request for information, not an acceptance of an order. We may contact you to clarify the project, arrange a measure or discuss samples. A quote will set out the relevant products, quantities, price, inclusions, timing and any assumptions that apply.

A quote or estimate may need to be updated if measurements, access, subfloor conditions, preparation, product availability or the requested scope changes. Any agreed variation should be confirmed before the extra work or supply is undertaken.

Supply and installation

For an installation project, please provide accurate information about the property, access, rooms, existing flooring and any known site conditions. The final scope may include preparation, uplift, disposal, delivery or other work only where it is stated in the written quote or later agreed.

Installation timing depends on the confirmed scope, product availability, site readiness and matters outside our reasonable control. We will discuss material changes with you as soon as practical.

Prices, payment and cancellations

Prices displayed on the website are for guidance unless clearly identified as a confirmed offer and may change. GST, delivery, preparation, installation and other charges will be identified in the applicable quote or invoice where they apply.

Payment, cancellation, return and warranty arrangements for a particular purchase or installation are governed by the written quote, invoice, manufacturer information and any signed agreement that applies to that job.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict or replace rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act and the Fair Trading Act. If a product or service does not meet applicable legal guarantees, we will work with you on the remedy required by law.

Website use and intellectual property

You may use the website for personal or legitimate business enquiries. Website text, photographs, branding, graphics and other material belong to Carpet Direct NZ or the relevant rights holder. Please do not copy, adapt, republish or use them commercially without written permission.

We may update, suspend or remove website content without notice. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by reliance on general website information where the relevant information was not part of a confirmed written agreement.

The website includes links to external services, including maps, social platforms and marketplaces. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, and we do not control their content or availability.
